An SEO audit is a one-off diagnostic of the whole site: technical foundations, content performance, search visibility, AI search positioning, and competitive landscape. The output is a written report with a clear, prioritised action plan rather than a generic checklist.

Audits are most useful at decision points: before commissioning a redesign, after a noticeable drop in organic traffic, when bringing in an in-house specialist who needs a baseline, or when an existing agency relationship is not delivering and you want an independent view.

A good audit tells you which problems are actually worth fixing, which ones look bad but do not matter, and where the biggest opportunities are sitting unactioned. The rest is implementation.

Common Questions

What is the difference between a free audit and a paid audit?

A free 15-minute consultation gives you one or two specific observations from a quick look at the site. A paid audit is a full document covering the whole site, taking one to two weeks of work, with a structured action plan. The free version is a fit check; the paid version is a deliverable.

Will an audit tell me whether to fire my current SEO agency?

It will tell you whether the work being done matches what the site actually needs, and whether what you are paying for shows up in measurable progress. We do not write hatchet jobs on other agencies, but we will be honest about whether the trajectory makes sense.

How is the audit delivered?

A written document, usually 30 to 60 pages depending on site complexity, plus a Loom walkthrough or live call going through the findings. The document is structured so technical recommendations can be handed straight to a developer and content recommendations straight to a writer or content team.

Do I need a separate technical audit and content audit?

Not usually. The standard SEO audit covers both. We split them out into separate engagements only when one specific area is unusually deep, for example when a site has hundreds of structured-data-heavy product pages and the technical side warrants its own document.

What happens after the audit?

You decide. Some clients implement with their own team and we step away. Others move into an ongoing engagement where we support implementation, review changes, and revisit the priorities quarterly. The audit is not designed to lock you into anything beyond it.
